In an environment where the pursuit of excellence meets professionalism and a commitment to high standards, Ayia Napa Marina takes a special initiative to highlight the women who contribute to its success. In celebration of International Women’s Day, the company launched a unique photoshoot on social media, recognizing the dedication and hard work of the women who play a key role in shaping the Marina’s achievements.

Ayia Napa Marina is known for its strong focus on equality and inclusion, with a significant portion of its workforce being women. Women hold key leadership positions, proving their vital role in both business operations and daily functions. Among them is Boatyard Manager Alexandra Sophocleous, the only woman in Cyprus—and one of the few worldwide—to hold this position. Also leading in strategic roles are Senior Finance Manager Simoni Efstathiou, HR Manager Valentina Grigoriou, and Architect & Design Coordinator Georgia Adamou—each playing a crucial part in establishing Ayia Napa Marina as the ultimate maritime destination in Southeastern Europe. Additionally, the team behind the Marina’s renowned island-wide events is made up of three passionate and creative women, ensuring the seamless execution of high-caliber events. The Marina’s Sales Department is equally balanced between men and women, while the Marketing Department is predominantly female-led.

This photoshoot was an opportunity to showcase the strength and contribution of these women—who not only define the Marina’s culture and drive its success but also help shape a more balanced, fair, and inclusive workplace. Their teamwork, professional excellence, and dedication shine through, sending an inspiring message of empowerment.

This initiative further reinforces Ayia Napa Marina’s commitment to promoting equality while celebrating the women who contribute daily to its success and growth. It stands as a genuine recognition of their impact, emphasizing that through their roles, women are shaping the future—not only of the organization but of society as a whole.
