The 23rd McDonald’s Ayia Napa Youth Soccer Festival concluded with great success on April 17, as over 5,000 young athletes displayed their talent, passion, and sportsmanship throughout six days of thrilling competition. As the largest youth football tournament in Cyprus, this year’s edition brought together 426 teams representing 81 football academies from both Cyprus and abroad, solidifying the festival’s status as a truly international celebration of youth football. 

Held from April 12–17 at the Ayia Napa Sports Centre, the tournament featured matches across 16 specially designed pitches. Young players aged 6 to 17 competed in Grassroots and Youth categories, with enthusiastic support from thousands of parents, coaches, and fans. 

The festival came to a close with the awards ceremony held on April 16th at the Ayia Napa Stadium, where the participating teams were honored for their competitive presence, ethos and team spirit, in an atmosphere full of emotion and pride. Ayia Napa Marina, as the Silver Sponsor of the event, hosted the press conference at the iconic Event Center, highlighting the importance of this great sporting celebration. 

The 23rd McDonald’s Ayia Napa Youth Soccer Festival will be remembered not only for its scale and flawless organization, but also for its joyful atmosphere and the countless unforgettable memories it created for young athletes and their families.
